Delegation Skills Training Adelaide

Course Outline

Overview

Are you staying late while your colleagues clock out on time? Are you re doing work that you've delegated because it wasn't done the way you wanted? This is a fight you are not fighting alone. In my experience, this is a problem for most Australian managers, they understand that they need to delegate more, but they are not sure how to do it without the whole show unravelling.

In this powerful, experiential workshop I developed for Australian Business owners and leaders who don't want to let go the controlling, 'quality conscious reins' of your Business. Through the years I have helped hundreds of managers all over Adelaide and also throughout Australia, who have experienced a complete turn around in their management style resulting from making improved delegations. The distinction is not just in the kind of work they do, it's in how an entire team functions and advances.

Delegation isn't a matter of dumping work on others or laziness. It's all about building a high performance team where everyone is giving their best work, but also learning. Done well, delegation is your most potent force for trust, talent development, and exceeding what you could ever do on your own.

This course marries tried and tested delegation tools with local workplace examples from our Australian workplace. You'll walk away with a transparent system that fits for your unique Business situation with small teams in family businesses or departments for large corporations.

Concluding Remarks

This in depth delegation course changes how Australian leaders think about leading their team. Instead of dreading delegation as a dangerous loss of control, participants are taught to think of it as their most effective method to create capable, confident teams while freeing themselves to concentrate on overseeing the strategic guidance of their Company.

The series looks at real issues experienced in Australian workplaces from the culture of "just do it yourself", to juggling differing management expectations and team personalities. Attendees walk out with specific take aways they can put into action right away, and the confidence to delegate well without sacrificing quality or relationships.

It is even more at the core that this type of training contributes to the kind of Organisation where everyone is succeeding managers who are able to manage high impact work and team members who feel trusted, valuable, and who are learning to continually improve in their professional capacities. The end result is improved Business results and more engaged, competent employees prepared to tackle the challenges ahead.
